New Ear Training Interval Chart with midi files and graphics. If you're interested in learning to read music... I have developed an interval ear training web page that will allow you to find intervals by looking at and listening to those intervals in commonly-known songs. The theory here is that if you know a certain song, it will be easier for you to pull the intervals out to sing them if you reference known intervals from known songs for singing new songs. Here are the simple intervals (simple means an octave or less) from the minor second to the Octave (we'll get to compound intervals later). You'll see that the interval is to the left, the song and phrase that illustrate the interval under song (the bold indicates the exact phrase that gives you that interval ), a midi file that plays part of the melody (the part that includes the interval) for you, and a graphic representation of the interval. The words up or down indicate the direction the interval is going. New Chakra Description Charts (Male and Female), Chakra Representation Chart, Chakra Meditation Spiral Chart Now Available at Healers Arts. In an effort to work more concretely with the chakra system, I have created these charts. The first is the Chakra Description Chart. I spent a good deal of time in meditation on the chakras and created and developed my own images for the energy vortexes in their appropriate colors. The chart also includes their meditations, appropriate crystals/stones and energies. My main sources were Wheels of Life by Anodea Judith and my own meditations on the chakras. If there is interest, I may sell photo quality copies of the Chakra Description Chart at some point. Coming soon: a Chakra Balancing Meditation. I have also created the Chakra Representation Chart (Male) and Chakra Representation Chart (Female). These charts are a representation of the body with the chakras in their appropriate places. The last is a Chakra Meditation Spiral to help in accessing the chakras while meditating.
