Leap of Faith © 1999 by Izolda Trakhtenberg
I wrote this song when I was standing at a crossroads. I'd been feeling a bit of a spectator in my own life and had to make some choices and decisions. It's taken me time and a few leaps of my own to come to my spiritual home. Special thanks to Charles de Lint for the image of "midnight at a crossroads." I had forgotten wyhich of his many works contained the words, but I recently re-read "the Ivory and the Horn" and it is in his story: Saxophone Joe and the Woman in Black.
