Note: The sounds page is undergoing some changes and sounds are currently disabled. More info to follow. Below,
you will find sounds from my many and varied musical interests. Primary,
are samples of my original songs. This music can be described as Folk
Nouveau - music that combines the story-telling and instrumentation
elements of folk music and the reverence for nature of the Art Nouveau
movement with melodic influences that span the Earth. The music
of the British Isles, Ireland, Eastern Europe, India, Spain, and the Middle
East have all been influential in my creative process. You will also find
portions of traditional tunes with the band Folk Nouveau, partial recordings of some of the chants that I have written, and a highlight of my classical side with me singing the first stanza of Schubert's "Ave
Maria."

Harvest
Home
One
of my favorite Irish hornpipes, this number literally makes you
jump up and start dancing. In the demo, it flows beautifully into
Red Haired - another Irish piece.
Heart's
Ease/Romany Butterfly*
An
old English country dance tune, Heart's Ease is sweet and a bit
sad and has an Eastern European flavor. Here it is followed by my
Romany-inspired piece that has flavors of Eastern Europe and other
exotic places.
More
traditional music samples are on the way.
