Try Again © 2000 by Izolda TrakhtenbergThis song is the first to be born while I was playing the guitar. (Normally, I write the lyrics first and then try to come up with a melody and then perhaps even a guitar part.) I was trying out the DADGAD tuning and started strumming and the first two verses just jumped out of my mouth. I wish to dedicate this song to the people out there who suffer from depression and yet still get up every day and live their lives and especially to those who have their own rebirth and find the joy that comes from the beauty of every day things.
Walked out to the ocean
Spent days chasing rainbows
Friendships long forgotten
The secrets and the diaries
I longed for peace of everlasting kind
But then I saw the ocean "The
calling of the seabirds
Touch of moonlight
Tranquil thoughts and wild-eyed girls
I longed for peace of everlasting kind
